Most of the time when we visit Tai O, we spend an afternoon here, having Hakka Cha Kwo or roast squid, and leave in the evening. However you can consider going to the Tai O Heritage Hotel to have BBQ buffet for dinner. Tai O Heritage Hotel was the police station built in the village back in 1902, it has been renovated in recent years and converted into a 9-room heritage hotel. In its restaurant, Tai O Lookout, you can have BBQ and some local dishes like fried rice with shrimp sauce, Begonia fimbristipula punch or cheese cake. Two special section is going to be held on September 17 and September 24 for customers.
